Privacy Policy for Moka

Overview

Moka (by Tugrul Works) is an iOS app that helps you track your daily drinks — water, caffeine, sugar, and spending. Moka has no account, no sign-up, and no backend server: everything you log stays on your device. This policy describes the limited data involved in using the app. By using Moka, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Moka does not require or support an account, so we never collect your name, email address, or any registered identity. The data involved in using the app is:

• Your drink logs and settings — stored locally on your device only. This data is never uploaded to any cloud database and is never transmitted to us.
• Anonymous, session-based product analytics via Aptabase — app usage events with no user identity and no personal data attached.
• Subscription status, handled by RevenueCat, if you purchase Moka Pro.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because your drink logs never leave your device, we cannot and do not use them for anything. The limited data we do have visibility into is used exclusively to:

• Understand aggregate, anonymous feature usage to fix bugs and improve the app.
• Confirm and manage your Moka Pro subscription entitlement.

We do not sell data, show ads, or profile you.

3. Local-Only Storage

All of your drink logs and app settings are stored locally on your device only — nothing is uploaded to any cloud database or server we operate. You can export your data at any time as a CSV or JSON file directly from the app.

Deleting the app deletes all of your local data. Because we never receive or store your drink logs on any server, there is no data deletion request to make for that data — removing the app is sufficient.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push notification server involved, and no notification data is sent to us.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Moka Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or yearly). Payment is processed by Apple through your App Store account; we never see or handle your payment details directly. RevenueCat manages subscription status and entitlement on our behalf.

7. Data Retention

Your drink logs and settings remain on your device for as long as the app is installed, and are permanently deleted when you delete the app. Anonymous analytics events are retained by Aptabase only as long as needed to produce aggregate usage insights; subscription records are retained by RevenueCat as needed to manage your entitlement.

8. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Because Moka has no account and stores your drink logs only on your device, you already have full access to, and control over, that data at all times — you can export it as CSV or JSON, or delete it by deleting the app. For questions about analytics or subscription data, contact us at the email below.

9. Children's Privacy

Moka is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if we learn we have done so, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated effective date.
